Killer migraine today..not good at all...had to leave work early to medicate. I did get a surprise from Ron, he had gone out to get dog food for the kids (ha!) and stopped by a thrift store on the way home (he's starting to take after me) and found this. It had just come into the store and had not been priced yet, he offered $25.00, took a pic, they accepted, he came home to see if I liked it..I said YES...he went and brought it home. Just needs a little bit of work and it will be a great work table for my craft room! Thanks honey!

Johnny T....Complete

So...I took my time, found the right color for his legs..found out that it would cost twenty four dollars for a pint..that would not do..so went with timeless from ace hardware buck fifty for a paint pod and a close match, bought two...could have just used one! LOVE how he came out..Not bad for under fifteen dollars if I say so myself. Here he is all done up inside....

Johnny T

My new love is Johnny T...straight from Goodwill where I found him hunkered down in the back just waiting for me to nab him. $9.99, dragging him to the cashier and calling Ron for pickup and he was all mine! I'm still working on him, but had to share now. So far he's had a few good sandings and Formby's Restore a Finish to the top. Still have to scrape the gum off the bottom and paint the legs (thinking robins egg blue) then going to add casters to the legs. Best part..No distressing necessary! He is scarred up beautifully. Can't wait to finish, he's a keeper. Here's a few pics..enjoy  xoxo

A Wedding

Ahhh young love! Went to a wedding of a friends yesterday. It was so sweet I actually teared up as she walked down the aisle, she was so beautiful and just radiated joy. The ceremony was held in the antique district of downtown Glendale...all the shopping I couldn't do! Then off to a private home for an outdoor reception. I took a picnic basket with Ball jar wine glasses for the girl's from work and hubs that were there. I love hanging out with these kids! It was a lovely day, even if it hit 90 degrees here in Phoenix and I got a little melty, got to dance with my husband Ron! Congratulations Chrissy and Justin! May the rest of your lives be as joyous as the day was. xoxo
